The Euphorbia Ingen is a species of plant in the genus Euphorbia and the family Euphorbiaceae. It is commonly known as the candelabra tree or naboom. The Euphorbia Ingen comes in a few differing varieties, which contrast from one another slightly depending on where in the world their seeds were sourced.
Native to dry areas of southern Africa, this Euphorbia has adapted to the Australian climate nicely. Although it is rare to come by, it has proven to flourish throughout costal areas of Australia. The flowers for this species form as small yellow bouquets, typically found in areas of new growth in maturer plants.
Unlike other cactus this species of plant does not always have spines. Cactus Vision has both varieties from time to tome; spinless and this variety, with small spines. This plant is great for restaurants and bright indoor or outdoor areas. It is important to note that the Euphorbia Ingen’s milky latex sap can be an irritant to the skin and eyes. Please wash your hands with soap if you get the sap on your skin and avoid rubbing your eyes. Do not consume this plant.

WATER: Water generously when soil is dry in Autumn/Summer/Spring, seldom in Winter.
OUTDOORS: Absolutely, position your plant in half day sun, a bright shaded area or full day sun. We recommend watering plants in full day sun more frequently in the peak of Summer (biweekly - weekly); this regular watering over summer helps prevent sunburn in extreme weather.
INDOORS: This plant is comfortable in well lit indoor areas - preferably close to a window (preferably 2-3+ hours of direct sun on a sunny day)
NB: The most affordable and efficient way to measure if it is time to water your cacti is by using a water meter. When the meter reads “DRY” its time to water again. Remember, over watering Cacti is the main cause of death.Head to our online store to buy your water meter today!
