Northern Mexico

WATER
Water when soil is almost completely dry from spring to early autumn. Keep dry in winter, especially in cool weather. Must have excellent drainage.

OUTDOORS
Full sun to partial sun. Best in a bright, open position with free-draining soil.

INDOORS
Must be a very bright area. Not recommended unless a well-lit indoor position (North-facing).

FROST TOLERANT
Moderate tolerance once established, but protect from heavy frost and prolonged cold wet conditions.

GROWTH RATE
Slow. Forms a compact, symmetrical rosette, usually 60-80cm wide.

FLOWERS
Tall flower spike once mature, with cream to reddish-purple flowers. Flowering once and the main rosette dies after blooming.

PETS & CHILDREN
Position with caution, away from foot traffic. Leaf tips are sharp and can injure children or pets.
